Available Cloud climatologies :

1. TOVS Path-B cloud properties are available (for the period June 1987 - May 1994, NOAA-10 and NOAA-12 satellite observations at 7h30 and 19h30 local time). This Dataset is documented in Stubenrauch et al. (2006). This reference as well as this website should be indicated when you publish results using this data set..
   The TOVS Path-B cloud climatology is participating in the GEWEX cloud assessment Stubenrauch et al. (2009), and therefore data are available in a common netCDF format (one file per cloud property, per individual year and observation time) including monthly cloud data (averages, variabilities, distributions) at a spatial resolution of 1° latitude x 1° longitude. The data format is described in TOVSB_cloud_netcdf.pdf
2. AIRS-LMD cloud properties will be soon available for the period 2003 - 2009 (Aqua satellite observations at 1h30 and 13h30 local time). The Dataset is documented in Stubenrauch et al. (2010). This reference as well as this website should be indicated when you publish results using this data set.
   The AIRS-LMD cloud climatology is also participating in the GEWEX cloud assessment Stubenrauch et al. (2009), and therefore data are available in a common netCDF format (one file per cloud property, per individual year and observation time) including monthly cloud data (averages, variabilities, distributions) at a spatial resolution of 1° latitude x 1° longitude. The data format is described in AIRS-LMD_cloud_netcdf.pdf.
